3 Ways To Master The Middle Of Your Month

Alright guys, it’s the middle of the month, or as we like to call it, the sweet spot. We’re going to share with you what we do during this time to supercharge their businesses. By the end of the month, you’ll be celebrating lots of success!

We’re going to give you three key points that we follow each month. So, let’s dive right in, shall we?

Take inventory and know where your business stands right now.

It doesn’t matter how close or far away you are from achieving the goals you set earlier in the month. We’re here to help you not only reach your goals, but exceed them! When we started our own business, we felt the excitement and anticipation each time the middle of the month approached—we had put in a lot of work in the first couple of weeks, and we just needed to know what to do next to achieve success at the end of the month. And that’s exactly what we’re going to share today!

Take a look at where you currently stand in relation to your goals. In our business, we set monthly goals for income or rank, and then track our progress. Trust us—if you don’t track your progress, you’ll have no idea what’s happening. So take inventory of where you are, set your goals, and then track your progress.

Ask yourself these questions every week throughout the month.

Asking the following questions each week will help you track your business effectively.

  • How many people have you shown the business to?
  • How many follow-ups have you done?
  • How many three-way chats have you had?
  • How many potential customers or prospects who inquired about the product or opportunity have you responded to?

We call these activity generating questions, and we use them as self-reflection tools to evaluate and understand how we’re doing each week. If there are gaps in our business, they show up here! For example:

If you ask yourself how many people you’ve talked to, and the answer is only one or two, well—that’s a red flag! It’s a sign that you need to have more conversations to reach your goal. It’s telling you that you need to take more action and initiate more conversations, whether it happens on online on social media or offline in a coffee shop.

If you ask yourself how many people you’ve followed up with, and the answer is zero, well, we get it. Often times, we’re so busy showing people the business that we don’t get to the follow-up. But if we take a hard look at why we’re missing this critical part of the process, we might find that we’re afraid we won’t know what to say, or maybe we’re just being lazy. Once we figure out the reason we’re avoiding the follow-up, we’re ready for the final step.

Taking action is key!

As with most things in life, we need to take action or make some tweaks after we’ve identified the issues holding us back. If you’re doing great follow-ups but not enrolling many people, there’s a disconnect in getting them to say yes. You can sit down with your sponsor or upline and work on closing questions to move people toward saying yes. Taking this action allows you  to course correct and finish the month strong!

Now, here’s the thing about action: it doesn’t have to be perfect. It might be messy and crazy, but that’s okay. Just do it, my friend! Doing is everything in this business. Great things happen when you take messy action and watch what unfolds.

As we wrap up, let’s revisit the three steps:

  1. take inventory of where you’re at and what you need to do.
  2. ask yourself how many people you’ve shown the business, followed up with, and helped get started.
  3. and most importantly, ask yourself what action you’re taking and how fast you’re taking it.

If you do these things, you’ll have a business that rocks and rolls!
