It’s no secret—we’re all about events! Attending them, hosting them, and getting as many people as possible to join us as we can. In fact, we’re heading to a massive event this weekend that we’ve been looking forward to for ages! 

Events have been in our DNA for the past twenty-five years, and they’ve played a huge role in our success. We keep a box full of name badges—hundreds of them—because they represent years of attending and organizing events. They’ve been the foundation of our business and have given us the confidence, belief, and drive that we want to share with you today. We’re going to give you three reasons why you should get out there and go to an event!


1. Defining Moments

When Sarah first started out in network marketing, she wasted no time. She signed up on a Tuesday and hopped on a plane that Friday to attend her very first event. She went alone, which was a bit crazy, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions she ever made! 

The event was huge, with six thousand attendees, and she had the chance to meet so many inspiring people. She vividly remembers sitting high up in the enormous auditorium, feeling overwhelmed with emotions. She even started crying—not out of sadness, but because she realized in that moment that her life would never be the same! She was only twenty-one, and that event ignited a fire within her that still burns bright, twenty-five years later. 

So, as you can tell, events are everything to us. But why? It’s because they’re the launchpad for our business, they sustain us through the ups and downs, and they help us reach new heights! And the number one thing that events offer is defining moments.

Attending an event will kickstart your action-taking, provide inspiration, and empower you to reach out to people on your “chicken list”—those that you’ve been hesitant to approach. You’ll accomplish things you never thought possible because of the defining moments you experience at events. Trust me, it’ll shave six months off your learning curve, your success curve, and your income curve!

There’s something different and special about events. So special, in fact, that Zoom calls and coffee shop meetings just can’t replicate the magic. Your network marketing journey will be filled with defining moments, and many of them will happen at events. We love seeing people realize their potential and exclaim, “Oh my gosh, I can do this!”

Being at an event means you’re completely focused, envisioning a bigger future for yourself. You see things you never thought possible before. And not only does it recharge you, but it also recharges your business.

When you’re part of a community, something magical happens! It’s like walking through an open door filled with love and support. You learn things you never knew before and see things you’ve never seen—It’s all about going all in and playing full out! It’s truly awesome.

Think about your first experience at an event: the community, the friends, and the incredible connections you make. Some of these friendships can last a lifetime! I still have friends from twenty-five years ago, and I’m so excited to attend one of their weddings soon. The relationships we build in this business are truly special. We grow up together, supporting and inspiring one another.

Events are like the glue that keeps us all connected. It doesn’t matter if you’re experiencing success or facing challenges—attending events is an opportunity to learn and improve. Whether it’s mastering the art of inviting, getting more people to say yes, or building stronger relationships, events have always been a lifeline for us.
