Growing businesses face a range of some of the biggest challenges. As a business grows, different problems and opportunities demand different solutions – what worked a year ago might now be not the best approach. Or, those people just starting out in business can feel these challenges on an even deeper level.

Recognizing and overcoming the common challenges associated with growth is essential if your business is to grow and thrive. Crucially, you need to ensure that the steps you take today don’t themselves create additional problems for the future. Effective leadership will help you make the most of the opportunities, creating a sustainable network marketing business in the future.

This post and video highlights the common challenges that affect growing businesses mixed in with a few tips on how to help you overcome them.

Top 5 Biggest Challenges in network marketing

Entrepreneurs are the driving force behind creating and growing new businesses. All too often, they are also the people holding them back. Let’s help you identify and push beyond these biggest challenges found in network marketing.

I don’t know anybody, I don’t know where to start.

Now, without question this is one of the most common statements from people when they’re just getting started or, when they’re feeling frustrated in their business. Because did you know that the average person has 100 contacts in their phone? Not to mention, we ALL have social media.

This is where we want you to be connected strong enough to your WHY to do whatever it takes to make it happen — including talking to every single person you know.

Additionally, do you ever find yourself prejudging someone by saying ‘oh they won’t be interested anyways so I just won’t bring it up to them‘ — STOP making the decision for others on whether they want to be a part of your business or not. You would be surprised how many times people have pre judged and came to find out that person they didn’t speak to — could have been that one person to make a real difference in their business and their life.

Afraid of rejection

Find yourself afraid of hearing the word ‘no‘? Make sure that you are using the tools that your company offers and it helps detach you from the outcome. We know the tools work effectively … so if a prospect says ’no’ .. they’re not saying no to you, they’re saying no to the tool.

So learn to get out of the way and remember this business is NOT about you (or us). There will be so many people who are eager to say yes that the no’s will simply become part of building a business and moving forward.

Consistency

When you are consistent and people see that, when they look at you … it says a lot about your character, in such a good way.

Planting seeds and Harvesting are not in the same season. So stay the course — set realistic goals that you want to accomplish for 30 days straight. Even if that means speaking to one new person every day, do that … and do it every day thereafter. Consistency is KEY!

Did you know that only half of people will follow up with their prospects?

Imagine doing all the work in prospecting and connecting with someone new but than dropping the ball on following up. That’s so wild! And sure there’s more than likely some fear happening in there as things move closer to the close …

So guess what?

Connect with your sponsor .. plug these prospects into 3-way chats, use the systems available to you. When you are strong with your follow up, prospects see that you’re serious — this matters.

Quitting too early …

We think that the first few times someone feels like quitting, they feel alone in that feeling but guess what — we ALL go through it.

And too often, people aren’t setting proper expectations for their business (aka quick results). Your mindset is super important when it comes to your belief and commitment to keep going. So hang in there because you have your hands on something so incredibly amazing and life changing,

We believe in you and we would LOVE to connect if you could benefit from some additional support.
