Content is everywhere today. The competition is huge and social media is a noisy space. We had touched upon repurposing content before but wanted to dive deeper into this post. In our opinion, simply publishing to your Facebook page isn’t enough. Instead, we want to suggest that you share your content in several places online.
Did you know that more than 3 million blog sites exist today alone? And, we already know Facebook users are into the billions, which in some ways is super exciting — however, it contributes to the noise without question.
We want to show you seven platforms you can get your existing content onto to direct more new people to your preferred method of communication. This can be as simple as referring them to your social media accounts or email. Fresh eyes, contacts, relationships, and more opportunities for sales!

7 PLACES YOU SHOULD BE SHARING YOUR CONTENT FOR MORE VISIBILITY

Consider this list a way of taking your content to a new level. It’s as simple as a quick copy and paste (or upload) and then letting it go to work. This strategy takes consistency. However, it only requires a few minutes a day!

MEDIUM

Medium allows you to republish your existing content, but you can also use this platform to increase traffic to the entire blog post if that’s your jam. This is a great way to add richer posts with more text (400+ words) and allows users to clap, share and comment. As a bonus, it’s free to use, and the sign-up process is seamless!

REDDIT

This platform can be a worthwhile platform to consider for sharing content, but it needs to be done correctly. And by the right way, it means being mindful of the ‘subreddits’ you are choosing to share your content. Similar to Medium, this site is ideal for longer pieces of content and does not require any visuals.

This platform isn’t necessarily a pretty one to look at, but its users are very engaged, and there is a ton of engagement.

LINKEDIN ARTICLES

Sharing your content on LinkedIn publishing is excellent to add to your toolbox. The articles should be 350+ words, and one solid visual is helpful. The advantage of this platform over others is that anyone connected to you on LinkedIn will be notified when you publish a new article. How great is that?

TWITTER

Poor Twitter has been overlooked for too long! It is a fast-moving-paced platform that can be intimidating for some. However, grab a solid quote or take away from your existing posts and get it up! Make sure to add a link to your tweets that allow people to connect with your website or most active social media pages.

FACEBOOK GROUPS

How often are you sharing your content in Facebook Groups? Offering value in groups is always a good idea! For example, you posted a solid post on your profile about saving money. Think about how many tips you could offer in various groups. Go into those groups, and share a small piece of your post. Here’s the ideology behind this. Most people will be nosy and want to check out who you are. When they attend your profile, they see a value-rich post related entirely to what you had engaged in. This can be some powerful stuff!

SLIDESHARE

Creating excellent content takes time. One way to get the most reach out of your content is by taking highlights and turning them into a presentation for SlideShare. (this could be an easily outsourced task as well) Changing the format in you present your content can help reach a wider audience.

PINTEREST

You don’t need to be a solid DIYer to share your content on Pinterest! Just be careful you don’t get caught in a rabbit hole while there. Instead, create or use a strong image from an existing post and get it onto Pinterest. Make sure you use a business account and link the image back to its original spot. This will create a great circle of engagement across your platforms but, more importantly, your most-used platform.

Let us know if these ideas helped you share your content across different platforms! Also, which ones are you currently using to execute this?
