When considering starting a business, having a clear vision of what is possible is essential. After that, growing a successful part-time business is entirely within your reach.

There is no hierarchy, no VIP club, and no elite education you must have to attain massive success. And remember, the word success is relevant to your goals. (more on this in a minute)

If you struggle to believe this, please study other online business owners. And, when you see that these everyday people — people like you — are making it happen, you’ll realize you can do it, too.

Regarding the word success, please know this; earning an extra $300-$900 a month would be HUGE for some people! For others, it may exceed $1,000 or even $10,000. So wherever you are — reach for it.

In today’s post, we will share why building a part-time business can be even more powerful than a full-time one. Then, we want to share some key points on how you can make it happen!

The Power of a Part-Time Business

If we’re being honest — although we have some fantastic business partners crushing an extra 6-figures alongside a full-time job …

The moms (and dads!) earning that extra $500/month to put their kids into sports, dance, etc., are equally incredible.

Between social media and other online building strategies and tried and true offline techniques — a part-time business is a great place to start!

3 Tips for Crushing Your Part-Time Business

Suppose you want to bring in some extra income or maximize your current situation. In that case, you will find the following tips super helpful.

And, ones anyone can do.

Quick Tip: Be sure to grab our 7 Ways We Generate Leads Every Single Day Using Social Media!

Prioritize Everything!

We get that you love your weekends with friends or drinks after work. However, list all the things you would like to do and rank them in priority. This can be with something as simple as a daily to-do list. Decide what is more important — those drinks or the extra income.

This may sound a little harsh in some ways, but please know it’s coming from a place of wanting YOU to succeed!

Maximize the Small Pockets of Time

This tip is more specific to those looking to build a business online. Think about your day; how many times do you find yourself with open 15-30 minute blocks?

Maximize these time blocks; make your priority list, plan your content, follow up with messages, etc. You don’t need to always have hours of time slots blocked off — maximize the time you DO have!

Become More Productive

Identify your most productive hours and work during those times. That might mean shifting your sleeping patterns to get to bed earlier most nights and/or waking up earlier. Believe it or not, within a couple weeks, your body will naturally adjust to this new schedule, and you will find that you have much more productive hours in the day. Even if they’re in smaller time slots, as we mentioned above.

Overall, actions will always supersede talking about them. If you can consistently work on your business 5 -10 hours a week — GREAT! Start there. Eventually, once specific tasks take you shorter amounts of time and your business continues to grow … your schedule will adjust too!

We know it can be incredibly enticing and attractive to jump all in. Still, please don’t underestimate the power of a part-time business. In fact, some of our strongest business partners are still working full-time jobs and enjoying the extras their part-time business brings in!
