Think of all the accountability partners you’ve had in your life. When you really think about this, there have probably been a TON! May have even started with someone like a parent or best friend. And, as time passes the accountability falls by the way side and the cycle starts all over again.
This is no different with any type of goals, right? Professional, personal, financial, spiritual, wellness, etc. So, in this post we want to really hone in on the entrepreneurs seeking accountability and, hopefully steer a few of your fence sitters in the direction of making this a priority.

…. and how this can often end up in quite a balancing act!
We launch a business, make a few solid connections through networking, etc. and we are so pumped up, right? We find an accountability group or an accountability partner and we feel totally SET! And somewhere along the way this starts to break down and fall apart. Often, will no ill intentions attached people just get busy and holding you accountable stops becoming a priority or vis versa.
So, we felt that once people truly understood why this is important and, how to implement it simply, it would help keep it up on that priority list a long while after the novelty has worn off.
Stop Feeling Stuck!
If you’re the person making all of the decisions, even if you have a team around you, it’s easy to get or feel stuck. You’re unsure what to do next, unsure what path to take. There is a sense of not knowing what to say yes to and what to say no to (too many yes’ was always our downfall!)
The complexity of running and growing a business can create confusion or overwhelm. What you need is to have someone to talk things through with. To have a sounding board. For someone to actually sit and just listen to you. And, someone who will simplify things for you and give you the clarity to get unstuck and move forward. Ideally, this is someone who has walked a path like you are striving for, before.

Building a successful business or brand is often a confidence game. We often don’t make decisions because we’re fearful of losing things that are important to us. Wouldn’t it be beneficial to have someone in your life you can actually talk things over with?
2 heads are often better than one (or so they say). We are all looking for more;
- clarity
- confidence
- capability.
Having someone there who will listen to you and understand you can be hugely impactful.
If that same person, can hold you accountable going forward, then that can build your momentum even more. Or, this can be your wise ears — we all have those friends who truly want the very best in us and in a lot of ways help keep us grounded.

When you work with a business coach or speak with entrepreneurs who have experience with businesses that are different from your own, they can provide a perspective or new way of thinking, that you might never have thought of. How they’ve dealt with certain situations and overcome challenges could provide a totally unique solution to you.
