Every entrepreneur and network marketer has a key to their success. And this key is often found in the morning routines and daily habits of those deemed to be successful entrepreneurs. One of the secrets is that most entrepreneurs don’t simply wake up and go to work — you know, like most who are working at a job in or outside of the home.

Successful entrepreneurs understand the importance of incorporating a healthy routine and enjoying a little me time as well. Maybe you want to call this, balance. In creating these routines, it allows them the time to get their minds and bodies in the right place before diving into their work through the rest of the day.

Our daily routines can make a huge difference to how healthy, happy and productive we are and in this post we want to share some of our daily habits and some suggestions for your own DMO (daily method of operation).

Daily Habits for Successful Entrepreneurs

Successful people build daily, weekly and monthly routines that helps keep themselves sane, productive and happy. Entrepreneurship is stressful, right?

And you’ll find stable routines become your foundation which help you structure your life.

Rise and Shine!

If you are a morning person then do yourself a favor and capitalize on that. Wake up and be ready to take on the day! If you are sluggish in the middle of the day then take a few hours off. Consider taking a nap, read for fun, or meditate. Do whatever it takes to gets you back on track. We weren’t always morning people (trust us!!),however … we’d be lying if we said that getting up early, little coffee and self care helps start the day right. And, as a result allows us to free up some time in the evening for our kids and, ourselves.

Get Physical!

Successful entrepreneurs are great at getting the blood flowing and they do this with some light daily exercise — we love a good run or a ride on the Peloton or more recently ‘The Mirror’ (shadowboxing Mirlo — so fun, I mean, Tony’s before and afters are a bonus on their own!). This way, they keep a healthy head that is clear and ready to work. Blood flow and lymph circulation are essential for a clear mind and healthy body.

We have to have a healthy mind in order to process the information we will be collecting all day, right? And as a result, we become more productive.

Enjoy a Delicious Breakfast

You have likely heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day—and it’s true. Breakfast gets your metabolism moving and gives you energy to start your day.

Get into the habit of drinking a glass or two of water as well (room temperature is best) . This will help your body get sufficient fuel to power through your day and, it will also allow improve your focus.

Remind Yourself, Often

This is how I (Sarah) have the alarms/reminders set up in my phone. This might be something worth looking into for yourself! Although these reminders are much more self-care related, I believe they have been pivotal in my own success.

What are you reminding or telling yourself every day?

Work on Referrals

One of the greatest things successful entrepreneurs stress you tap into are referrals. Who in your network can lead you to someone you may do business with? Or, who can your current customers refer to you who could benefit from your products or service? Referral business is great for the longevity of your business.

When asking for referrals think about it like this — the worst thing they can say is no.

Get out there and Meet Someone New!

Now, whether you are building your business online or offline this daily routine is golden. Maybe you are in a new Facebook Group and you make a connection with someone you’ve never spoken with. Or, perhaps you are out at a networking event and you really jam with someone.

The more people you can add to your network daily, the stronger your business will become.

Be Intentional with your Influence On Social Media

Sure it would be easier to say get out there and post on a consistent daily basis, right? And you probably already know that’s important to do … however, how intentional are you being with your content?

Successful entrepreneurs are always considering the goal of their post before just throwing something up there. They’re considering what they want their audience to do, or how they want them to feel or react and crafting the content to match that. Make a habit of posting valuable content daily and don’t be afraid to mix in your family, hobbies or otherwise too!

Plan Tomorrow’s Tasks, Today

As part of our evening routine, we make a list of the tasks for the following day and we plan out our different meetings, appointments and so on. This lets us pack the kids school bags, thaw tomorrow’s dinner (food prep is real!) and overall get ready for tomorrow when we’re awake and alert.

So, when we wake up and we’re groggy we don’t have to worry about it and we stress less.

Connect with your Team

Regardless of what sort of entrepreneur you are you have some sort of team backing up your success … If you’re like us we have partners we’re working with on various projects. Maybe for you, it’s your team in a management role, or your co-workers in some department or, you’re a network marketing professional leading a large team.

Your team is whoever you’re directly connected to in your professional life who you in some way rely on.

Make time to encourage these people, do check-ins and make sure they’re aligned with their goals. Ensure they’re developing both personally and professionally. And although group chats or tempting – get as personal as you can in this regard.

Overall, creating a daily routine and sticking to your DMO’s are critical to becoming successful entrepreneurs. We hope you enjoyed the 9 pieces of our day — and, we do have a few more (just connect with us, we’re happy to help!)
